Provisio ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Provisio HR and IT onboarding platform at getprovisio.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

2. What information we collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account information: Your name and email address when you sign up via Clerk.
Organisation data: Your company name and team member information.
New hire data: The names, roles, start dates, and onboarding details of employees you add to Provisio.
Billing information: Payment and subscription data managed by Stripe. We never see your card details.
Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the app for product improvement.

3. How we use your information

To provide and improve the Provisio service.
To send transactional emails such as invite links, onboarding confirmations, and billing receipts.
To process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe.
To respond to support requests and enquiries.
To monitor uptime, diagnose issues, and ensure security.

4. How we store and protect your data

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on Amazon Web Services in the US-East region. All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Row-level security policies ensure that your data is only accessible to members of your organisation.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate Provisio:

Clerk — authentication and user management. clerk.com/privacy

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we will delete your data within 30 days of your request. New hire records are retained for the duration of your subscription and may be exported at any time.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your account and data.
Export your data in a portable format.

8. Cookies

Provisio uses session cookies necessary for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party analytics scripts are loaded on the platform.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of Provisio after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
